Your tasks:

  • Conduct detailed research on emerging technologies and industry trends in the energy transition.
  • Proactively scout for potential investment opportunities and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
  • Support the Investment Team and the Senior Advisors in due diligence activities by analyzing business models and reviewing technical aspects.
  • Assist in preparing screening and investment memos, presentations, and pitch decks.
  • Support relationship management with stakeholders in academia, industry, and investment.
  • Help refine origination processes and suggest improvements to sourcing methods.

Candidate profile 
Dynamic team player (m/f/d) with a hands-on mentality, level-headedness and a sense of humour even in more intensive project phases.

We expect:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical and/or Energy Engineering, or related field) or Natural Sciences (Physics, or related field).
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainable energy and knowledge of the energy transition.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with both qualitative and quantitative focus.
  • Affinity for Private Equity and investment analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Verbal and written fluency in both German and English.

Your tasks:

  • Support in investment projects and transactions, i.e., analysis and evaluation of incoming investment requests and business plans of potential new acquisitions and projects as well as contributions to due diligence topics and company valuations
  • Preparation of business plans and financial models in the context of due diligence and portfolio management
  • Support of the Investment Team in the management of the portfolio, e.g. by participating in strategic projects or in the development, implementation and evaluation of specific control models, key figure systems and reporting tools for individual portfolio companies
  • Support in preparation of analyses and presentations for the key stakeholders

Candidate profile 

Dynamic team player (m/f/d) with strong analytical skills, attention to details and a hands-on mentality.

We expect:

  • Completed or nearly completed bachelor’s or master degree with major in business, engineering, or law
  • Excellent academic grades / credentials
  • Interest in green tech
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, an entrepreneuria l/ pragmatic mindset and the ability to understand complex issues quickly and independently
  • Strong understanding of numbers and very good strategic skills
  • Distinct analytical and conceptual skills as well as a careful, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Verbal and written fluency in German and English
  • Very good skills in MS Office
  • Ideally prior work experience through relevant internships in private equity or related sectors (transaction services, strategy consulting, investment banking)
